The one thing to know about this place...

Claire: I love that they serve Fair Trade coffee all the time. Delicious lattes, brioches & fruit tarts are icing on the cake. Kelli is a unique, independent owner who is interesting to talk to and the future of downtown Redwood City.

april: This place is absolutely amazing! the coffee is the best and their pastries are to die for. and i did a little research on this place and it is owned by a real FRENCH woman who also specializes in BEAUTIFUL wedding cakes!!! and everything is made on site!!!! just amazing! go and see for your self!

JP Park: I suspect this might be one of those Japanese-French patisseries... everything has that slightly overperfect sheen characteristic of the genre, plus they use a lot of the flavors (chestnut, mango) preferred by Asians. Decent light lunches too.

Howard Park: bright, airy, upscale cafe with many flavors of French macarons and a few comfy chairs

Yi M: The treats are tasty, but very expensive! I also suspect that Pamplemousse, along with half a dozen other "French" places in the Bay Area, do not make the majority of their treats in-house. This is because all of these French patisseries have the exact same set of cakes, tarts, mousses, and other desserts. They look exactly the same, the taste exactly the same. So who knows?

Adam Rifkin: There's a Starbuck's and a Peet's each a block away, but I prefer the coffee from Pamplemousse instead.
