This place was quite expensive and in my opinion, not worth the price. The sashimi, while reasonably good, didn't merit its price of 2 or 3 times of what Japanese restaurants ordinarily charge. Additionally, the ambiance just reeked of them trying too hard. Between the tables of frat boys and river rocks as chopsticks holders, it was all a little much. The final insult was when the waitress brought over endamame with an additional empty bowl, and told us, "That's where you put the empty shells." Do I look like I don't know how to eat endamame? Does Nobu have some super-secret advanced endamame-eating process? If you must eat here, remember that reservations are essentially necessary.
