Bob Lisbonne:
Be sure to ask that your turkish coffee gets spun "around the world." It's turkish food meets performance art.

authentic, upscale Turkish in a narrow, sunny space (feels like the dining car of a modern-day Orient Express), the combos are gigantic, waiters somewhat nonchalant

The specialty is Sarma Beyti Kebab... that's like spicy seasoned ground meat rolled up tightly in lavash and sliced into marrow-bone-like rounds, with tomato sauce and yogurt on top. My favorite is the stuffed eggplant though.

Good selection of Turkish wines, too, not that I know anything at all about Turkish wine.
