The one thing to know about this place...
8/1/2007
JP Park: Really a bar with unusually good food, more than a restaurant. Maybe due to all the drinking of hard liquor, the food can be aggressively salted. Expect a long wait for tables, usually no wait for stools at the huge counter.

Adam Rifkin: As with the Tom Douglas restaurant Etta's, be sure to leave room for the coconut creme pie!
6/18/2007
Howard Park: Lusty food- and drink-fest around a horseshoe-shaped bar. Menu includes artisan cheeses, mussels with chorizo, and duck with goat-cheese gnocchi.
