The one thing to know about this place...
10/28/2007
Juan: The service was awsome and discreet and fast. I had good food and awsome service without noticing the waiters.

Betty: Veronica, yet another site I see your blog putting down this restaurant. What are your motives? Certainly you aren't the only person in RWC area that likes good food?

Yi M: They have one of the better burgers I've had in California, but I don't quite understand why it's $9 at lunch and $12 at dinner. It's the exact same burger at both meals...

veronica: Although the service is excellent (the waiter and seating and being serve was fast) the food was a huge disappointment, the skirt streak was dry, the calamari had whole pepper corns making it inedible with a surprise (there was a piece of a cinnamon stick-that wasn't part of the menu) the salmon (raw) alfredo and went sent back it returned burned and also inedible, the sole and the mash potatoes had no flavor, this place gets a half star, they say all new businesses fail within the first year and with the inexperienced chef they have they are lucky if they last even that. I do not recommend this place for people who know what quality food is, a fancy name doesn’t make a fancy restaurant!

Maia: eating outdoors is a treat here, and service is excellent!

JP Park: Excellent kobe burger on brioche. Fun girly drinks too, like raspberry pie martinis rimmed with graham cracker crumbs.

Nick Moore: Really good seasoned steak fries! Really good burgers, too!

Adam Rifkin: Open 11am-10pm weekdays, and 11am-11pm weekends. This place opened in April 2007 so it's still relatively unknown and quiet, and a good place for drinks and food. I can't find any information on the Web about this place, although I do find people misspelling the name as portabella or portobella or portabello, interestingly enough.
